Life is a road.
Inang dalisay, ever since, has this habit of watching Willing Willie. She would always switch channel every time it’s commercial on the other channel. Oh well, at least I learned something from one of the moms who gave her message to her child.
Life is like driving in a road. When you drive, you just have to enjoy every minute of it because like any trip, there will come a time that you’ll reach your destination. So, just enjoy while you are not yet there. Enjoy it with your passengers - that would probably your family, friends, lover or whatnot. You cannot always keep them forever. Time will always come when they have to drive their own car so make it worth their ride. They have their own car yet they chose to ride with you so take that as a privilege. Also, keep in mind that you have to take care of them considering that you are the driver. It’s what will keep them riding. Of course, if they can see that you are not careful with driving, they would surely get another ride.
Police men are everywhere to guide you and tell you that you are doing wrong already, but not all the time! That is why we have traffic signs to remind us the rules and regulations in life. It is probably God’s way also of guiding us. So we must all not break the rules. Just follow it, and you’ll be on your destination safely.
Everywhere there are problems in the road like traffic jams and congestions. But it’s not the reason for us to break the rules just to be ahead of another car. Everyone will be in their destination anyway – it does not matter who came first. Besides, each of us may be different in destination so why do we need to compete? Don’t be tempted with these tacky situations. Yes, we need to be in time but when you did that by dominating others, it’s still not overwhelming in the end.
So, let us all make this trip all worth the ride!
